Hello,

I have opened my own studio / shop and I am looking for any unusual wood pieces, large rotted logs, crotch logs, weird species… root bulbs of small trees and shrubs such as Sumac trees, Lilac bushes, and juniper shrubs. Also looking for Diamond Willow, Black Locust, and Rowan. Anything from across seas to found in the alley. The more unusual the better. I will also purchase exotics, cuts offs, and extra veneers. I also am looking for shed antlers, bone, or soap stone. So if you are giving up woodworking or cleaning out the garage … please PM me.

Thanks
Eric P. Jorgenson, artisan

Chicago Park District or Suburbs Park District Offices
Morton Arboretum

Chicago Art Institute is well know for their furniture collection maybe they have someone who might direct you to wood enthusiasts.
