Topic tags/keywords: tip question

I am still thinking of the possibility of constructing this Crux. Diffusers of different colors will be fitted in front and light (flourescent lamps) will be fitted. The side to the wood is not a problem however the one that will connect diffusers to each other will be difficult. Anybody can help me?

here is the design… (anyone who like in sketch up ) send me a pm and need your e-mail address)

Thanks for your help.

What is the diffusion material? If it’s glass, then lead came or copper foil would be an option. If it’s plastic, then that’s not gonna work.

I am not using a glass. I am using diffuser that is probably fiberglass (it easily breaks not a real plastic or polycarbonate stuff) about 1/8 inch thick. The same material for ceiling flourescent lamps’ diffuser. Lead or aluminum comes into 1/4 groove and it is too loose. Thanks for the idea.. it maybe possible to fabricate from hardwood strips and instead of groove I might use 45 deg countersunk style… this will flash the diffuser end to end. Looks like this piece…
