I’m getting ready to move and need to sell my big tools. Up first is a Makita LM3001 – Planer Jointer Saw. I’ll be putting it on CL soon but thought I’d advertise first here in case anyone is interested. FYI – I’m in the Colorado Springs area.

I’m the third owner of this machine. The guy I bought it from got it from his uncle, who bought it new. It has minimal wear and is in very good shape overall.

First, the bad:
- Table saw is missing the throat plate
- Gear/chain cover is missing
- Wood beams that elevate the machine could stand to be replaced

The Good:
- Comes with
Owners manual
Tool kit
Extra drive belt
Spare blades (sharpened, ready for use, and with tons of life left) Blades on the machine have tons of life left, too.
Push pads
- Machine is dialed in and very accurate
- Table saw can come off to make planing easier
- Rollers have been resurfaced and work great
- Stationary cutter head translates to virtually no snipe

Asking $900. I’ll be selling my Delta 36-725 as well, but don’t have pictures of that yet.

LumberJV. Are you still around? Did you ever sell your LM3001?

Not really around as I’m not doing much woodworking these days, but yes, I sold it. I’ll pm you.

Have your say...
