I have owned my Shop Fox W1706 14” band saw for about a year and now I want to add the Shop Fox D3348 Extension Block Kit to it but can’t find one anywhere.

Does anyone have any idea who has them in stock?

Thanks,
Jim

Well Jim a visit to Grizzly may provide an answer.
BTW I would love to have a shop Fox distributor in Australia, all I can do is look at their gear!

Thanks for the posts. I should have stated that I am reasonably smart and know all the keystrokes involved in a Google search. I did that first and checked every link and no one has them in stock. The link to Amazon was, of course the first in the search results. If you click on it to order it , it says “Usually ships in 1 to 2 months”. I’m trying to get one a bit sooner than that. That’s why my original question was “Does anyone have any idea who has them in stock?”

Looks like the Grizzly riser for G0555LX or G0555ANV would work. Both have the cogged post that the Shop Fox appears to have, and appear to be in stock. Paint wouldn’t match. My green HF riser doesn’t match my saw, but the wood doesn’t care. Might be worth a call to Grizzly.

^ Yep, the riser kit for a G0555LX should fit on your Shop Fox saw just fine, only difference is the paint job.

Thanks Earl, I’ll give them a call. Hopefully the locating pins are in the same spots.

As I understand it, Grizzly (direct sales) and Shop Fox (retail dealer network) share ownership (Shiraz Balolia, along with Steelex?), so it’s a good be the pins will interchange.

I heard that today. Also, if you look at both pictures, they look identical except for color.

Thanks.

One of the listings in my admittedly smart ass LMGTFY reply was an eBay listing that has it for $113.51 shipped. I wouldn’t have used it unless I verified the page had something useful on it.

I, too, saw that listing but when I opened it there was no option to buy it, now there is.

Thanks

My local dealer got me one from Shop Fox directly for $89. I’m quite happy with it.

Have your say...
