A friend of mine has the Supermax 19-38 and wanted to upgrade to the 25-50, which due to trickledown economics meant I could get the 19-38 for my shop. The deal was postponed due to the lack of a component for the “intellisand” system, which they were informed was a global (perhaps a slight exaggeration?) lack of availability – just wondered if anyone else has heard or been affected by this?

Not that this is the same issue and some of us got chastised in recent thread by a fellow who thought we should keep just answer his question….but I ordered a new switch for mine once and the customer service couldn’t have been better, and it arrived in a couple of days…..but I am in Iowa and they are in MN…so it wasn’t far. I also talked to the owner at a sale a month or so after I bought it…he couldn’t have been more down to earth and helpful, and the sale had already been made. He gave me his card and cell number….which I was going to offer to you but I can’t find it. It is just a gut feeling, but they seemed pretty honest.

Hard to believe that, but give them a call. My board went out for the second time and they have a new one on the way to me. Variable speed stopped working, it only runs at 100%. They sent me a new board a few months ago, that one crapped out this week, so they decided to ship me a new motor and board.

My intellisand is acting very erratically after a few months of use as well. Will give them a call.

I just got my Supermax 19-38 a week ago, and it’s wonderful. I also interacted with their customer service for the purchase aspect of it, and my experience was top notch. I wanted to order it with the closed stand in place of the open stand and I couldn’t find a sku anywhere for that option. They worked with my local woodcraft to make it happen, about a week later and it was forklift loaded in my pickup truck. (It also works great and I’m extremely happy I was able to get it.)
