Did these sell for you? -- "Checking for square? What madness is this! The cabinet is square because I will it to be so!" Jeremy Greiner LJ Topic#20953 2011 Feb 2 |

Not a one. Can’t even give these away, which is a shame because there isn’t a better wooden plane blade to be had. Same blade I sold for $60 a couple years ago now won’t move at $11. Oh well, maybe someone will find the boxes of them in a barn 50 years from now. and start a handplane business….. -- Doubt kills more dreams than failure. |

Just ordered 5. I bought a handful of Rhett’s original irons when he introduced them, lovely to make a plane around. Tapered and with chipbreakers? These are a steal. -- Mark Kornell, Kornell Wood Design |

Glad someone bumped this. I saw the original post and was going to grab 2 or 3, but spaced it out. I’ll get them ordered when I get home tonight. -- https://www.jtplaneworks.com - In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. In practice, there is. |

I posted the listing in my forum and the Hand Plane Facebook group, so that should help. -- http://timetestedtools.net - Collecting is an investment in the past, and the future. |

I ordered 5 as well. If all goes well I might be in for another handful. Thanks Rhett! -- Dave - http://kelleycrafts.com/ - pen blanks - knife scales - turning tools |

Is shipping combined on multiples? Still good price if not and have been pleased with the blades I bought in the past from you. A few more planes never hurt will order some tonight. |

I had been meaning to buy some also. Just ordered 3. Thanks Rhett -- Paul, Duvall, WA |

FYI, a 24+ hour soak in vinegar will take care of all the rust and will oxidize the blade and chipbreaker from further rusting…. -- Doubt kills more dreams than failure. |

Thanks for the insane fast shipping Rhett. What if I have one without any rust, looks coated or something. Haven’t tried to hone it yet. Can you tell me about my “one of these things is not like the others”? It looks cool for sure. -- Dave - http://kelleycrafts.com/ - pen blanks - knife scales - turning tools |

Must have been some finished blades in with the rusty ones. That was my final finish before sharpening. Those blades and chip breakers are oxidized. They should be rust resistant now. Takes an edge just like the others. I think they look stealth too. -- Doubt kills more dreams than failure. |
