Hi. I am making an octagon wall cabinet, I have the pieces cut (8×6 ) 22.5 deg. I’m having trouble figuring out the angle for the spline. Any help would great. I know it has to be 90 degs. to the face of the 22.5 deg. cut. I can’t ssee how I can do it on the table saw.

Thanks Joel.

Could you cut a block that the inside of your piece could rest on allowing the mitered end to rest flat on the table saw, then you would only have to adjust the height of your blade at a 90 and make your cut? That new block could ride against the fence.

Tilt your saw to 22 1/2 deg. and make your cut with the work piece standing on edge.
