This sash (I believe) mortising socket chisel is made by Greenlee, from Rockford, IL. But, I can find nothing on it. It has what seems to be a shorter than normal handle, which makes me wonder if it has been modified or replaced. Has anyone seen one of these before? Are there any more sizes? I’m new to sash chisels.

Send it to me. I’ll deal with any shortcomings. :)

I know that Greenlee bought Reliance, and moved production to Rockford Ill. I have a Reliance socket chisel prior to the sale. It has no handle, so no help at all.

Have your say...
