I have been searching for a while now for a large corner computer desk with hutch. I have had no luck finding plans for one. Here is an idea of what I am looking for if anyone could point me in the right direction that would be very helpful because I must be on the wrong highway. I dont mind paying for the plans if I can just find some.

Am I going to be stuck designing my own? Are there any books that might help or anybody that uses Sketch Up that could do one?

Brett, What I would do is break your search down into the different components instead of searching for plans for the entire assembly. Search for corner desk plans, find a basic layout you like and then search for hutch plans. The only thing I would caution you on is to make sure your corner desk is braced in the middle as shown in the bottom example photo if you are going to put a hutch on top. Also, in your search for plans stay away from sites with addresses that have things like “free woodworking plans” or “10,000 woodworking plans” in them. Ana White has a good website with projects that will at least help get you started.

I think it’s just a matter that some people possess the tools and skill to execute a plan, but may not be as comfortable making the plans.

To the OP….look around on youtube for someone who built something similar. Often the woodworking you tubers sell their plans as well.
