All I know is that I’m happy as heck, and can’t stop smiling! I’ve got a “real” table saw. This Hitachi C10fl was on craigslist for $250, so I went to take a look. No rust at all. I checked for flatness, parallel miter slots, motion of raising and bevel cranks, and then vibration. All were perfect. The guy had all original equipment, and when I checked, the blade wrench was still in a factory sealed platic bag. He had a black & decker blade on it that was gummed up (all he used it for was pine and PT) and I immediately took it off and threw it away. What was really crazy was that I was in the process of building a masonite top and fence for my Delta bench top because I just couldn’t stand the burn marks I was getting on my rips. Oh well, maybe I can use it in some other way. Deal or not, color me happy! -- Wish I were Norm's Nephew |
