Topic tags/keywords: question plane

It seems to be missing the adjustment knob and lever cap but the frog isn’t missing, it doesn’t seem to have one .. just a few points of contact. Also not sure if the lateral adjustment lever is missing or maybe it doesn’t use one of those either?

just a really cheap #4 that sets up much like a cheap block plane. there would have been a lever cap to hold it down and then you adjust it with a mallet.

Thanks … if I can find a lever cap to fit it (any idea where I might find one?) maybe I can turn it into a use able scrub plane
