Topic tags/keywords: cherry maple mahogany padauk tip

I have the winter edition of fine woodworking that has an article that shows good wood combinations and I actually used one of the suggestions on one of my projects and it turned out beautiful, the Mahogany and Cherry combination. what I was contemplating was a couple of different projects one being Padauk and curly maple and another being spalted Maple and Cherry, has anyone used any of those combinations and if so how did it turn out? and do you have any pictures, thanks in advance !
