Looking for an accurate appraisal of some wood I have, it’s 100+ years old and in amazing condition. From an old warehouse in New Orleans, LA.
Wood is very unique, strong grains on one side, weathered patina on other side.

I have no idea. I grew up in sugartown, Beauregard parish La. Not an expert on New Orleans, do you know the name of the warehouse or what ward it was in, just curios.

It was a huge warehouse on the Mississippi River on Tchopitoulas street. I think it was one of the government warehouses.

A local place in Oregon that sells reclaimed wood (often also over 100 years old) sells for $3/bf. Take that for what it’s worth…

IMO its worth what someone will pay. You can sit on it and wait for the right buyer to come along or you can knock down the price and get it moving out the door. I haven’t had a ton of luck in selling reclaimed for any more than $1/bf up here in new England.

Around me I’ve seen it fetching $5-8/bf. Less if its full of nail holes.
Depends on the area – lots of interest in “rustic” by the public.
