Hi all. Been a while since I’ve been here. Working 60+ hrs. a week and then life stuff in general had not left me much for play time. But on Feb. 16 I finally retired…yaaayyy!!! So now I have time to get working on my house projects.

Now to my ?? I have a Rikon 14 in. band saw and have been researching blades for it. Seems that Starrett Bi-Metal would be a good choice. I’m thinking bi-metal as they should last quite a while. I’ve looked on the Highland and Woodcraft sites and don’t see the bi-metal blades there. Can someone give me a shout out about where I can order Starrett bi-metal blades? I’m looking for 1/2 inch.

Thanks !!

Try McMaster-Carr, MSC, Enco or Wholesale tools. Any industrial supply house will have it.

Timberwolf sells bi-metal blades but they are not made by Starett. I use the 3/4” TWolf and like them.

This place sells bimetal and others. I’ve ordered from them in the past and they have shipped fast.
