Thats quite a bike. I wonder how it goes up hills? The $4500 tag is pretty pricy though.

I think were seeing the ultimate answer to parking and the overhead of same in crowded city corridors.
Realistically the price should resolve as the demand for thees units drives the production up.
This one is currently the top contender for single person transit.We can’t possibly keep donating 240 sq feet to every automobile that needs to park in the downtown.

$4,500 for a bicycle that goes 6 miles on a single charge? I would rather just walk.

I saw that episode a while back on Discovery with my wife. I agree wtih you – resolves a lot of the congestion issues…here in Vancouver I could see this type of idea sticking since the town is already going pro-bike / anti-car in the downtown core.
