Topic tags/keywords: chairs blog

I’m going to start making some adirondack chairs for the church services auction. I plan to start this weekend. My question to my fellow LJ’s is this: I have taught these chairs in several classes and they’ve always have turned out pretty good. Should I blog this in a “this is what I’m doing today” fashion. Or should I blog this in “this is how you do it” class style fashion?

The what I’m doing today fashion would be much easier and faster, but the this is how to fashion may be more informative. I can do either direction. But I did not want to take up a lot of space if you’ll didn’t think it worth the time or effort.

Either way I have some pictures from my classes and will take additional ones as I go along.

I await your input.

Betsy, I like the ‘How To’ style. I read somewhere that you have to see something 7 times before you really remember it and since I’m kinda slow 7 would just be a starting point. But then again, finished projects are really cool, too.

MsDebbie the taskmaster—- geez. :-)

I’m leaning to the “how to” just because I’m opinionated and I think everyone should be subjected to it! Not really – I have been thinking that if I do the “how to” then my fellow LJ’s can say – Whoa Nellie—- hold on why’d ya do it like that? That way I’ll learn a trick or to.

Betsy – the two best things about LJ (IMHO) are getting to know eachother and learning from eachother. If you post “what I did today” we get to know you better, and if you post “how to” we get to learn from you. So “how to do what I did today” would be great, but whichever way you choose will be read and enjoyed!
