Selling my gently used Nova DVR XP. I am including the super nova chuck on it, and I believe I have one 1.25” spindle adapter. Machine is switched over to 220, but can easily be switched back to 110v. This tool is unique in that you actually gain HP by making the switch. 99% of the time, the switch is a moot point, but on the xp it allows you to go from 1.75hp to 2.3hp. I believe I purchased the lathe in 2012, and I really haven’t used it as much as I originally thought I would. Fact of the matter is im more interested in furniture than turning, and I only have so many hours in the day. I would be up for partial trade on a nice midi lathe with variable speed. Not much to say about the nova, infinite variable speed, slick indexing head to turn outboard, 16” swing, plenty of power, and just a well reviewed lathe for guys that don’t want to spend $5k.

Price is $1675 for lathe and chuck. I am in Pittsburgh, PA

How much trouble to ship it?
