Topic tags/keywords: evansville il st louis mo Hi all, I am new here…My name is Mike Heinen (42) and I live in Evansville IL. Its a small town about an hour and a half south east of St. Louis, MO. I am married with a great daughter (6, whom we adopted from Thailand). I am a novice beginner, but have dabbled with woodworking all my life. My great-grand father had a professional woodworking shop when I was very young. I remember kickin sawdust down the holes where the belts ran through the floor. So I guess you can say its in my blood. I had heard about lumberjocks through some podcast I’ve been following(Wood Whisper, Matt’s Basement Workshop). Anyway I hope I can learn alot and hopefully share alot with everyone. I hope to maybe see if ther are member close to visit and learn from and chat with…. Thanks. |
