Probably a high school shop class. Or a fantastic coincidence. -- No craft is very far from the line beyond which is magic. -- Lord Dunsany — Instagram @grailwoodworks |

High school shop classes. Frankly I like it. I think it is a great idea for some high school shop teachers to have his or her students post thier projects on this web site. It stimulates confidence and just maybe a desire to create something positive. My only beef is that there aren’t more positive comments on such projects. I’ll try to do a better job myself…........ -- mike............... |

My thoughts exactly. Probably a class and several students posted their results. I don’t see anything wrong with this. I always try to respond with a simple “That is a nice …” to projects. I think everyone needs the encouragement no matter what their skill level. -- "I love it when a plan comes together" John "Hannibal" Smith |

I agree with the last two posts. I like to see the projects of students. I went to an all male private high school with no shop classes of any kind. I would have loved to had the opportunity to learn woodworking. |

I think we should encourage high school students in woodworking. I believe it is a shop class in Wahoo,Nebraska. Obviously, these are probably first time projects but the kids have done pretty well. Far to many high schools have dropped shop class. |

BINGO ! If we want to see sites like this one survive, then we need to encourage younger folks wanting to start woodworking. -- Perform A Random Act Of Kindness Today ... Pay It Forward |

I’m with you all. Kids need a pat on the back for doing a good job and trying something new. |
