Shouldn’t be a problem. If the top was solid, it would just take longer bolts than what are included in the package. I’m guessing that the Bench Dog top is not 1 1/2” thick all over—but likely webbed. So, careful drilling would get you to where the thickness is under 1/2”. Another possibility would be to drill through where you choose, and run about 3” mounting bolts through the mounting bracket, top and a 3/4” plywood backer under the webbing.

Incra writes great manuals, but for the most part they are geared to what’s included in the kit for fasteners. This is one that should be relatively easy to overcome. I’ll measure the centers of the bolt holes on my mount so you can look at the top from the underside for drilling locations.
