Topic tags/keywords: older lathe

I am so excited. Since my mini lathe isn’t up to what I wanted. My hubby found one on ebay and we just brought my new-old lathe home. Heavy as it is we managed to get it onto my side…lol It runs like a charm and I can’t wait to start using it. Does anyone have this model? It has variable speed on it.
And where would one be able to find a book on it? Also came with a duplicator and not sure on how this works or how to connect it up to the lathe and says by Tool Mark Duplicator. I feel like a kid in a candy store! Thanks for any info and can’t wait to think of something to make!

I don’t know anysting about this lathe but I found a PDF file. It is only a 2 page copy of a paper that probably came with it when new. You may or may not have it, but if you don’t it may come in handy some day.
Have fun with your new/old lathe! About the duplicator, there seems to be a couple for sale on the net. Maybe you can get a copy of the manual from someone, if you are lucky.

Why THANK YOU! I printed it out and it will be valuable for me. I did get a email back for a number to call and maybe they said would be able to find the manual. But this helps alot! Again thanks. I can’t wait to get playing on this baby! The duplicator I am still searching. Just takes time. But I am getting on the right track.

I called Delta 1-888-848-5175 and they are sending the manuel! Awesome huh? My husband and I cleaned up the machine a bit since it had some rust and we got it looking pretty good. It slides nicer to. I had him show me how this one works. Sorta the same but I wanted to understand the process myself. So we cut up some pieces now to make some candle sticks. Since we really haven’t found information on the duplictor I am just doing 2 differant pieces. I have been watching alot of the videos here and find very interesting. One thing that would be nice to know is where they purchased the tools and what kind is suggested. Santa thing you know. LOL

Go to for a schematic and parts list for your 46-510. I try and print out this info, then add it to the owners manual for future reference. Have fun!
