I am going to be building some walls cabinets for our kitchen after the holidays. The doors will have glass instead of raised panels. I would like to have dividers on top of the glass and have NO IDEA how to create them. Any and all help/ideas will be greatly appreciated.. The door frames are mired corners with a simple 1/4” bead along the edge.

Not to be facetious, but.

Seriously, it was too much to type :) There’s a lot of good info out there!

Merry Christmas!

I used to sell custom and factory cabinets. My son got a set of hickory cabinets with glass doors opposite the range. No problem. If you put glass doors over or by the range, you will get the grease deposits on the glass and need to clean it frequently. Just a recommendation. Same with open shelving.
Sounds like a great project. You realize you have committed to post photos of the finished project. What type of wood are you using? Curious.

So here are a couple Sketchup renderings. The first shows the whole kitchen when it’s done. The second is a closer shot of where I want to put the glass door uppers.

I have no timeline for this project, as I am still working on the room itself.
