Who can tell me anything about an 8” wood Jointer, made by Force Mfg. Are they U.S.A. Made? (I doubt it).
Is it a off brand? (I’ve never heard of them). Help me if you can. Thanks…..Don

I Googled Force Mfg and got a few hits, that may help you to try that. I don’t think I have heard of their tools though, but then I haven’t been shopping around for tools for too long.

If you want an 8” jointer why buy some unknown brand? Why not look at the Grizzly G0490 8”? Lots of us jocks own it so you can really ask around. I love mine. The beds are dead true, its a parallelogram , is over is 6’ feet long, has a four cutter head, a mobile base, and a three hP motor. It sells for $895.00 There are even more owners on Sawmill Creek if you want more opinions.

I seem to remember seeing Force Mfg a lot when I used to visit House of Tools, something like HOT being an exclusive distributor/service center for Force Mfg items. So maybe you will have better luck checking the Canadian forums
