I need one replacement blade hold down bar for my planer. The part number is 089170105107. Unfortunately the part is obsolete and no longer available from the sources provided by Emerson. If anyone can point me to a source, I would appreciate it.
Thanks
If you can't find one Jim then let either a sheet metal or a machine shop make you one.
Maybe someone will jump in here and do a better job of helping you.
If you have to go the route suggested by Bruce see if any of the "technical" high schools in your area teaches machine shop. Years ago I found one that would have a student make a bracket I need at a very low price. It provides good experience for the student.
I just found some from this website. I've been looking for about 8 months for these. www.midwestpowerparts.com/p/Ryobi-parts?aribrand=RPT&ariq=/Ridgid…
Did you ever have any luck finding a Blade Lock Bar for your planer? I am having the same problem, and the website Wendyann pointed out is now out of stock.
If you decided to get a new planer/replace your cutterhead all together, is there any chance you'd be willing to sell one of your other blade lock bars?
For some reason those are tough to get. Had a hard time with my craftsman. Looked at a Porter Cable for sell. On a whim checked to see if it had replacement blade holders. Nope. Still for sell and replacement parts not available. This was last week.

If by some chance you still have a blade lock bar, for the above mentioned Ridgid planer, i'm interested! Father in-law just bought that planer from a local pawn shop, and of course it missing one…
I've been looking for a Replacement blade locking bar for Ridgid planer R4330 also. I seem to have found a online retailer that says they are in stock.
I received an email from Rhodywoodworks about replacement parts for my R4330 planer. l followed up, ordered the parts, received them, installed them and was delighted to have it back up and running. The source of the parts is Cutech Tool and I will be visiting them again.
Thanks.
