Topic tags/keywords: mallet hammer sale help

I am not sure about the protocol of this here, so I will explain my situation. I have recently moved my father, and in doing so he has relinquished his small mallet collection to me to sell. I took 2 that I had always thought were really cool. But I have a small shop, and im kind of a plane and saw junky, mallets just aren’t my drug of choice. I fully intend on ebaying and craigslisting these but I thought I would bring it to the attention of my brothers here first, as these were something I had looked at in my dads man room for 30 years, and I want them to go to a good home. I don’t want them going to somebody that’s going to glue them together and make a planter box or a hat rack out of them if you get my drift. I have never seen anybody selling anything on here so I am assuming that it is generally frowned upon here. so I am asking anybody that may know how I might get some exposure to the lumberjocks, without stepping on any toes or making any waves. I thank anybody for their help that they can give .
thanks again , kooldecker

Try the woodworking trade and swap section of the forum. That is what it is there for, plenty of stuff gets sold on LJ.

And let us know, on this thread, when you post to “trade & swap”. I’ll take a look.

You could post in the trade and swap forum, or just add “FS:” to the title of this post, include some pictures and prices, and get ‘er done.

what the guys above said. I’m not a ‘brother’ per say but I am in the market for a mallet :) what a great way to forward the heritage on!
