Topic tags/keywords: picnic table protection

I’m almost done building a picnic table out of DF, it will be spending the rest of its usefull life under the sunny days of LA.

What will be the best protection I can apply to it to make it last longer under those conditions; sun and rain ?

Thanks to all for your advices.

I’m no expert, but I would think either paint or a decking stain of some variety. I have some experience with the Cabot series of deck stains, but not on pine.

Hey Alonso
I would suggest Spar varnish. I think the brand I have used is Man o war.
