We had a LJ ask for free board foot calculator software tonight. After I answered him I remembered I have a pile of Calculators that were built in Excel. I’ve had them for years and don’t remember where I got all of them from but they’ve saved me a lot of time in the past.

I’ll put them up for download on my free plans site on Thursday night and post a link to them.

Here is a list of them.

Board Foot Calculator
Drawer Box Calculator
Door Cut Calculator
Compound Miter Calculator
Toe Kick Calculator
Arc Calculator
Raised Panels Calculator
Arch Chart
Run-Rise Calculator
Invoice Template
Project-Cut-List Template

Thanks for your interest. I did another thread with the link to the calculators.

I hope some of them will work for you and thanks everyone to the replies on the other thread. I’ve been out of pocket for a days and haven’t had the time to thank everyone on the other thread.

google play has a wood working app that does bdft etc. Nice because you can take it to the yard and type in $ per bdft and add up the sticks as you go by H X W X L. Called “Wood Working Utilities”.

Thanks guys for your replies.

Pinterest…the site already receives between 10k and 12k a month in 20 countries now with almost that many downloads per month. Thanks for the suggestion though. My wife has suggested putting it on one of her dedicated servers to relieve some stress off the Sawmill site’s server which they’re making plans to move soon. It’s a very large site and tales 1000’s of hits a day and has to be well thought out before they move it so everything will land in the place it’s suppose to do and they’re also rebuilding it so it will be responsive also. My plans site will get the same after they’re through with the other site.

Yes SirIrb I know about the app and have posted it earlier on another thread. Thanks for suggesting it again.

Thanks Charles.

Any of you that have your own site, other than a larger commercial site, and would like to have a link to it on the free plans site, send it to me in a pm or email from the site.

I’ve got many more plans to ad to the site and I’m in the process of drafting them where just about anyone can build them. If anyone builds a piece from the site I would be more than happy to put your photos up on it.

Once again I thank you for your replies and I hope you enjoy the plans and the calculators. It’s fun for me to share them with you. Sharing and making sawdust is what it’s all about.
