A few week back some of the frequent flyer on the Stumpynubs thread wanted to give a ole friend Roger/Rex tribute .we had lost him to a battle he had with Cancer .the world is a bit dimmer without him will miss him greatly. what was finally decided was to have crawfish boil and geather to honor our friend .He would of been proud of all there and was proable had a big smile and saying what a bunch of misfits :) along with the boil /Gumbo and other foods and drinks there was a drawing of some very beautiful presents given away to each other and for many the first time meeting each other in person . William ,, a good friend not far from me here did a post on the event here
William thanks for all you did know it was taxing on ya ,thanks my friend

another LJ Dave also did a great video of it
,he dose some great videos got to learn this one day but i do good to just get pics, it came out great Dave thanks my friend
on the event i want to ditto what William said it will be a cherished memory for me and want to take one last chance to thank each and every person who participated in this project. I wish to give a special thanks to William ,Jeff and knotcurser. Without Knotcurser’s design ability and Jeff’s above and beyond help with this, I don’t know if it would have ever come together so smoothly.
As for the boil, thank you all so much for the best time I’ve had in a long long time. It never ceases to amaze me the friendships I have formed with some of the people of Lumberjocks.
Woodworkers. There are not a finer lot of people on this earth, and you people at the boil proved this to me once again. I will remember it always.

Thanks all it was fun and a few pics of the LJs there .

We all had a great time Eddie.
My kids are still talking about it to anyone who’ll listen.
I hope we can do it again sometime.

That was the best weekend I’ve had in quite some time. The only plan that didn’t work well was the Waffle House. Saturday morning was fantastic. I hadn’t laughed so much in a long time. I’m already looking forward to next years event. The giving and swapping was great too. Saw lots of cool stuff. Got lots of cool stuff. Gave away a ton of mahogany and got plenty in return. Eddie did a fantastic job coordinating the event. William showed off his talent in several ways. It was a great time and I sure am glad I got to attend.
