Location: Indiana, USA

I'm a beginning knifemaker, just learning to work with wood, metal, and other natural materials. I get a great sense of satisfaction and fulfillment working with my hands that I don't get with anything else.

I am a father of two wonderful sons who keep me very busy, and am married to the most wonderful (and patient!) woman in the world (who lets me carve wood in the living room; that's true love!).

I enjoy working on knives, anything outdoors, practicing survival skills, reading, and leading the Men's Group at my church.

Welcome to Lumber Jocks! This is a great place to get – or give – advice about woodworking on the forums and the project posts are a wonderful source of new ideas. I look forward to seeing your projects and posts.

To get the most feedback on your projects, it’s best only post 1 or 2 at a time. This way you will get feedback over several days and from a wide variety of members.

Please enjoy your membership.
