My house was built a little over 100 years ago on a bluff overlooking a lumber mill. I was the residence for the superintendent of the mill and in addition to a small house, there was a large structure that appeared to have originally been a workshop of some sort. At some time it was converted into a large garage with an apartment. Just prior to us purchasing the house, it was rented by someone who was using the garage to grow pot. They had installed a separate 200 amp breaker box for powering the lighting and insulated the heck out of the place. I took half the garage by building an interior wall and ended up with a shop that was 20×18 with pretty high ceilings. The floor is concrete and slightly sloped. I put in ducting for dust collection and put electrical outlets (including several 220’s) all over the place. I also built in some tool cabinets and a chop saw bench. I added heating because we tend to have some cool days in the winter. Some of my machines roll around (router table, plane, and jointer). I don’t have a lathe because I don’t know where to put it. If I get something new, I’m going to have to get rid of something old.

Very nice. I like the hanging air filter. I should get one of those.

Wow that is a nice and very clean shop. And good grief that is a lot of drawers. Does each screw gun get its’ own personalized drawer?!?
