I'm finishing a table top, two coats of Watco Danish Oil on top and bottom and plan to finish it off with paste wax. Do I need to wax the underside as well to make sure any moisture migration remains equal or is that overkill? Thanks.
You don't say what your goal is, but neither danish oil or wax will offer much protection for the table top. But, I concur that you don't need to wax the bottom. I don't suggest that danish oil is bad. It will just require more care than many other finishes.
