I have read the forum on watco teak oil. I have a slightly different problem with its use. Not understanding the product, thinking it was an oil, I used to apply it weekly to a teak kitchen table that sits in the sun. It is now yucky and picks up pieces of crockery from my china, ink from newspapers. Could someone tell me what is the best way to remove the yuck that is there and reapply in the best way…or should I move to a different product since it's a kitchen table. I was thinking of waterlox. If I do go to waterlox, do I have to sand it to bare wood.
