I am constructing a walnut bookcase. I joined boards to a total length of 70" long and 22" wide about a year ago. Well needless to say they bowed widthwise even though I stored them flat and stickered. I am not sure how to get them flat again. I have read that I could steam them, wet them, and clamp them. If the water clamp method is used which side should the water be applied to? Can anyone provide any info how to flatten them or point me in the direction of material that I could read? Thank you all and Merry Christmas!
