Anyone know of a resonable source for the pot for a potty chair

I have to build a potty chair and need a pot for it and the one I built years ago( they lost it). Plastic ones are okay and I found one on Etsy for $6.50 but they want $26 for shipping. Does any know of a better source or local stores that might carry them?

Thanks, Jim

Jim,

How about a kettle from the second-hand store?

Rob,

I forget sometimes that you people "down under" might not speak the same "language" we do here in the sticks. ;-) A kettle here is the same thing as "pots and pans" so I meant any metal container with a rim on it that one might use on a stove (or range, if that's what they're called by you). Think it over . . . I think you'll agree it could work. Metal (especially stainless steel) is more sanitary than plastic and can be found for a buck or two at a second-hand store (at least here it can). You could still insert it into your potty chair and if it had the right handle, it would make removing it easier, too.

OK Leftly, definitely lost in the cultural translation that's for sure !

When I was on the farm it was referred to as Gerrry Pot a china or porcelain bowl stashed under the bed for nocturnal use and emptied in the morning.

Jim, good work in locating a suitable item, ...also could be a messy observation watching me try, especially if you are not keen on holing a few of Lew's squirt defelectors. !! ha ha

Happy Fathers Day Jim.
I'm glad you found your part. I looked at the site Lew suggested.
Had great prices. They also had a rocking potty chair. Can't get my head around that one.
Is yours a rocker?

Hi James They do have good prices. Mine will not be a rocker. I don't think that would be a good idea..A poopin' rocker?
Cheers, Jim
