Hello

im looking for a easy /cheap way to make box joints on my table saw or router table.shop wood working is not cheap as far as tools go.I have some pretty basic tools to work with and get it done with what i have.tried using a stacked dadoe set for box joints but not so great results.Kinda just gettin into routers and still have alot to learn.If anybody has any suggestions they are welcome.thanks from a woodshop freshman

You can make a box joint jig. Google it, lots of stuff will show up. I laid them out and cut some on my table saw by hand with the normal combination blade. Check my projects, I think it was the last one posted.

What Topamaz said. I've made 2 box joint jigs so far, one for my router table and one for my table saw. With hard maple, I got better results on my router table using a spiral bit than I did on my table saw using a Freud dado blade. One caveat, though-in Freud's defense, I had not sharpened the dado yet. If I had, I almost certainly would've gotten cleaner cuts with it.
