Just what the title says. At one time, one was sent to the Woodshed to fetch a switch.
Because they broke some sort of rule…

Because they "misbehaved"

Because they didn't fit in with a certain group…..

So…this will be all about that sort of thing….been blocked? Had a thread you were on shut down, and NOT because of anything YOU did?

There are no rules here, other than what Cricket lays out.

Except…..

Those who dwell in "Ivory Towers" who tend to look down their nose at others..are NOT welcome here.

Now, just imagine, for a moment…IF you were a part of this crew…

And you all sat down for the Lunch part of the day…..what would you be talking about?

That is what this will be like. Got a problem doing a task? Ask away, maybe someone else can solve it, for you.

Not looking for those "My way, or the highway" types….they get boring after a while.

Just a Friendly bunch of ordinary people, who happen to like working with their hands, be it hand tools, or power tools.

Maybe not so much WHAT tool to buy, and more about HOW to use a given tool….anything from a "pen knife" to a Jack hammer….all are welcome. Come on in, sit down in a comfy chair, took your shoes off…and just relax..

Moved outside...awaiting the spray varnish..once the breeze dies down..

Little white plastic pads under each foot...

And, a look around in back..

Moving it up the stairs, involved a Makita Sawzall to cut a notch to allow the taller parts to get by a floor joist...

Morning to ya...pills taken....Bench has been varnished, and moved over, and into the Gazebo.

Remembering back when......in the days of AOL and Dial-up Inter-webby...and trying to post Project Photos....things have come a long ways, haven't they......

Have enough trouble using my cell phone as a phone....let alone all the other "stuff" on it...

This week...will be cleaning up the shop, sharpening and putting away tools....and sorting through all the "Left-overs" to see what sort of Project is hidden in them.

Not much going on today...it is a Monday, after all...

Morning- up early and making plans for my day away from the classroom. Thursday it will be the end of the school year. Next year I have decided to move to a general substitute so that I will have more time in the shop. Many plans for the new Thunder laser, it was a good purchase. And speaking of memories ...

Speaking of "changes "

Target has become the latest entity to face widespread boycott from Americans who are sick of corporations using wokeness to market products to children after the store stocked ‘pride’ products designed by a Satanist and featuring occult imagery.

DW, been doing a lot of yard work lately, trying to clear the wood line back to the lot line, cutting small trees and cutting vines back, let it dry for a week then burn the piles. also took a trip up to Michigan a few weeks back to see all of my kids and the grandkids, a great time. The return trip went through the Smoky Mountain National Park.

Now that I'm back from this morning's dental appointment, I'll be starting on the very small housing mortises for the legs of the crosses.

These were also quite popular in aircraft hangers so that the technicians could wash up after a job without getting the entire washroom greasy and filthy.
