I upgraded to a SawStop a few months ago and need to get rid of my General table saw. It's a great saw for the cost and I thought I'd let my fellow LJs have first shot at it before I post on on EBay or craigslist. It went for about $1200 new when I bought it 4 years ago. It's only been used on weekends by a hobbiest so it is still in great shape and has no rust on the top. It's a 2 HP motor wired for 240v but can easily be wired for 120v. Asking price is $600 and I'll consider trades.

Don, I am interested in the saw, but I would have to arrange transportation to Tacoma. Is it possible to take it apart so that 1 person can manage the individual components?

Would you be interested in taking my new Bosch 4100-09 in a trade?

Eamonn, yes, it could be taken apart so that one person can manage it. It was like that when I purchased it new and I moved it by myself.

Sorry, but I don't have any use for a portable table saw. I guess I should list the things I would be interested in:
- Good planer, like Steal Cities new one with a spiral head.
- Good chop saw
- Maybe a bandsaw.
- Mortiser

Dennis, that's because I was seriously considering keeping it and leaving it set up for dados but my wife really wants her parking space in the garage back.

Don, I don't have anything on your trade list, but I should be able to sell my Bosch. If you will take $500 cash I can come and pick it up on wednesday. I will need to rent a truck, unless it can fit in the back of my jeep cherokee. Can I assume there is nothing wrong with it - table is flat etc?
