Dear friends,

I have a question, a half year ago I bought a Bosch Palm router (see photo)
When I got the router and when I used him I found that the speed from the
router was so high.
When I looked on Internet I saw that on the Bosch palm routers
In the US hat a speed control and the one in Europe not.
Now I'm searching already for a couple off mounts for a (router) speed control
to use with my palm router.
And again, in the US there are enough (router) router speed controllers,
but there are all for 110v (see photo)
Now is my question has one off you ever used a (router) speed control
which works on 220v?
The manufacture talks on his website that his speed control works has a
output voltage ranges from 100V to 240V .
And this manufacture told me that the speed control not works on 220v ???

I hope that someone can help me, it's very important for me.
I know that the Bosch palm router has a slow start, but there is a possibility
to disconnect this slow start.

Thank you all for your help.

Kind regards,

Schummie.

I have the same speed control for a large router that has only one speed.
Your small router is a trimmer using small bits to do edge trimming that can turn fast so you don't need a speed control.

Schummie, you might try a technical school in the Netherlands to see if they could design and build one as a project.
I've heard though that it is very difficult to get around the soft start with out damaging the motor. Maybe a speed control that starts from zero and lets you climb the speed. Would be hard to judge the RPM's.
