A neighbor gave me a beautiful coffee table which I am planning on sanding and refinishing. My question is, how do you tackle existing stain removal on small trim pieces such as small quarter rounds and other small detail work? I am afraid if I sand them to aggressively I will change the shape of them. Thanks- Andrew

One way to do it, is to use wax paper and epoxy to create a sanding block that matches the profile perfectly. However, this may not be efficient, unless you have long stretches of the same profile.
