Hello LJs …..I lucked into a sweet little antique 4" jointer made by Rockwell Manufacturing Co..There is no model number anywhere on it , just a serial number , which is CC9968. It is branded with a round , Delta Rockwell logo and the Homecraft name on the front of the machine. Made in Pittsburg 8 , PA…
I'm looking for a height setting knob (bell crank) for the infeed bed , if anyone has one to spare. It is Chrome plated and is roughly 3.5" wide and has a 7/16" hole with a set screw for attachment . If anyone has any info about my new toy to share , please do : )
Thank you and have a great day !

I am sure I have the part you are looking for. I removed all the handles and knobs from a jointer that someone had let rust beyond repair. I also have the stand and motor. P.M. me if you would like to know more about these parts.

I would echo MedicKen's response.

Go to OWWM they will probably have a copy of a brochure for you and somebody there will help with the knob

Maybe delta still has one.

It is a pleasure just to look at the work that is done there to rehab stuff that you can't hope to touch today in this replaceable world of disposable garbage sold to us and called a tool.

Thanks for the info on OWWM gentlemen : ) I am waiting to hear back from oluf after pm-ing him last night.
My machines beds and fence were covered with surface rust , but I spent some time and used a lot of elbow grease on them and now they look almost new : ) It also needed new cutterhead bearings which I located in California for less than half of the price around here , and that included shipping to MA !!
