I did some research on how to deal with glue spots and staining but all the info I found was related to large scale or panel projects. I am having repeating issues with glue spots on the trucks I am building. What are some of the best practices for assembling and finishing toys/models to eliminate or at least reduce glue spots and get an even finish? I have seen conflicting opinions on staining prior to gluing. That method is what I have been thinking about trying next. The other question then would be which glue is best for detail parts? Wood glue, CA or something else. I would greatly appreciate any advice.
