I'm in the process of building a box as a thank-you to a friend. The project will be a whole bunch of firsts, but mainly my first attempt to resaw on the table saw. I have an 8/4 board of gorgeous bird's eye maple and I (fairly) successfully got it into thirds last night. Not surprisingly, the outside resawn board has bowed. Should I work on this one on the jointer now, or will it get a bit better after some time passes? If I start jointing now, will it simply continue to bow?

Thanks to all for the help!
