Does anyone have a technique for sprucing up pens that have been turned, and finished and sitting in a storage box for a while ? I want to remove the fingerprints from the metal and give the wood one last spit shine before I put it in a box for the customer.

Windex the metal and Pledge the wood ?

Any idea's ?

Thanks !!!!

I would recommend a couple things. First, the Beale buffing system really works great, and that is a good time to use it, after your finish is good and dry. The other thing that helps is apply some Renaissance Wax. It is a micro-crystalline wax that won't show finger prints.
Also, if you are using a CA finish, the plastic scratch remover followed by the plastic polish will really put on a shine.
Hope this helps.
