Disclaimer…......

Do not respond to this thread unless you own an oshlun blade.

I've had the pleasure of using a forest ww ii, multiple Freud's, etc.

The line of 10" blades that oshlun is currently producing is some of the finest TS blades on the market IMO. Don't let the masses convince you that you need to spend x amount of dollars for a good blade. My oshlun blades are going into every 10" saw I have ATM.

Spend your money wisely,

Paul

but from a performance perspective in my experience are not on par with the Forrest, Freud s best, Infinity, Ridge Carbide, Tenryu Gold, etc.

Their full line of thin and full kerf is not the greatest, I will admit that. I just tested a brand new 60 tooth thin kerf freud today and a new 60 tooth full kerf oshlun side by side today on cross cuts. If I absolutely need a thin kerf blade the freud will be put in, otherwise I prefer the cut quality on the oshlun. I have only done a side by side comparison of the 60t blades. I found less tear out in red oak cross cuts with a zci in the oshlun.
