I was having great difficulty posting pictures, too.

I use a Mac and Mozilla Firefox. Maybe that's part of the problem.

But … since you are from Norway … I'm guessing that part of the problem is this:

- You left your shop door open
- It's winter
- Your shop is now full of snow

If I am right … Your picture DOES show us that … and … it's beautiful ;-)

Here I'll try to show it off.

My 16 inch band saw is a wonderful piece of equipment.

Have made me a few jigs and it works wonderful with different size of blades.

The best part of what I did last week!

After having great problems with my Excalibur-21 I desided to go for the Hegner SE. This have showed me to be the best desition considder a scoll saw. I will never again buy a Taiwan or Korean saw. It is a lot better to pay some more bucks then have a saw that breaks several times and is impossible the saw straight. After the buy I made me a stand for it last week.
Then I had in mind I needed a place for my blades and have them marked where they are. Here it is and easy to find.

How you like it?

I have been looking for a lot of fine stuff made from other scollers. I have always fancy the more complicated things people have made. After getting the pattern from finescollsaw I saw at once this must be a nice one. I used 2-3 weeks on it (not every day). I painted the few things and esambled it in just half an hour! Just gorgeous.

The worse job was to glue up the 4mm from birch. With the big router I made the finger cuts and glued the pieces together and they fit tight and nicly together.
The finish on this is almost nothing! I have never made anything from a pattern that was so well done

Hi Dave.
No, the pattern is made of Pedro in Spain. He sell a variety of patterns that is very well done and it is worth every penny. www.finescrollsaw.com

We had snow for a week here and today +8 and the snow is almost gone. Last days has been cold - down to -10 Celsius.

Thanks for the comments.
I really like to work with the scroll saw. After working with wood the last 40 years you get some pratic and work yourself up some levels. I have like all kind of woodwork and I am into many things. My daily work is not at all wood! My father had a wood work factory when I was young and as always if someone wants to listen to the old folks - you learn the basic handling of wood.
If you are a woodworker - I don't mean houses etc. but fine woodwork. There is impossible to go to a shop a buy the wood you need for yourself. This lumber is cut stright forward and is just junk. Over the years I have made my own lumber.

And here is the result!

I have been woring with lumber all the time I can remember. My father cut his own lumber and got what he wanted. Since then - over 40 years - I have done the same. Any length - any piece - is worth to take care about. And when you cut it you always see and know where the good stuff is. I have yet no lumber dryer, but I have found a system worth while to wait for and the price is deasent. Then I'll build my own so I can dry 12 feet long and 3 by 3 feet. Then I'll have dry wood in 3-4 weeks. You can find the same in USA too and it is the same equipment.

I'll post a few more pictures later today.

More then one line comment would be appreciated.

Her is my new scrollsaw table. It is just made and I think it went out well. The table is tilted in the back and it is a good way of working.

This side I added a extra table that can be up or down depending what you do and how much place you need around you.

Here is another work made in August after my vacation to USA and visite to Norm in Houston TX. Hello Norm I really appreciated the show in your workshop.

I do make 3D and warious sizes. One time last spring I made the chicken and it is 1foot 10inches high. Most of the things I find in Creative Woodwork Craft. I found this magazine last winter and are now getting it regulary in the mail. Great stuff that has to be done.
