No-void plywood

I've got a project coming up where I need maybe about a quarter sheet of no-void plywood and there's none to be found in my area, even at the lumber specialty stores.

The species used for the plies or laminate isn't particularly important. I'm just looking for something that's about 3/4" with good continuity of material when viewed from the side.

So, I'm wondering if there's a place here on the interwebs or possibly around central Kentucky that might carry such a rarefied wood product.

Thanks ahead

I just checked on some for my boat. Wood was reasonable but MINIMUM of $300 dollars for crate and ship.
On the existence of no-void plywood. Up until two weeks I assumed such a thing didn't exist but I saw the phrase 'no void plywood' somewhere on a wood related board and figured I must've been mistaken. Since (and before) then I've done a fair amount of searching and can't say I've seen the term repeated much.

SMP thanks for the great video. I can't use that technique on my particular project but it's good to have that as an idea resource.

CaptainK you're right I'm still learning about my area's suppliers. Other than HD and Lowes I've been to Hardwood Specialties here in town and Flagg toward Nicholasville. This is the first I'm hearing of Interwood Forest and Ply-Tech. I'll look them up and see what they carry. I don't mind getting a whole sheet of 4×8 or 5×5, if it's local. Before now I had assumed I'd exhausted all my local suppliers and was anticipating having to pay for shipping.

Everyone else thank you for the tips. It looks like I've got a bit more running around to do here locally before I start looking for the mail order stuff. Although I sure have heard Appleply mentioned a lot and I'm wanting to get my hands on some of that stuff.

It will usually be described as "void-free" or virtually void free. Your search for "no void" was just looking for the wrong terminology in I used to build high end custom speaker and subwoofer enclosures. Speaker builders and luthiers will mainly look for void free plywood when using that type of ply.
I bought some prefinished 3/4" maple veneer plywood from Home Depot and found out that the finish is nearly indestructible and did not run into any voids. It wasn't cheap and it was not in the store so I had to order it!
I ve filled voids with sheetrock mud or spackle then paint

Yes lol ! I am serious lol !
Check with local cabinet builder supply houses if there are any near you. The plywood they sell is typically very good quality and usually lower prices than any box store. Maybe I'm just lucky there's a big cabinet factory that sells lumber to the public close to me..
