Saw dust makes a good burnisher. It'll help start a campfire or fire pit in no time. In thin layers it can be used in your compost, vegetable and flower gardens as mulch. I have zip lock bags with super fines from Walnut, PH, Oak, Maple and Mahogany to save un perfect joints or cracks
