This is my first post, so here goes:
I've been at it for under a year only, but I'm a sucker for hand planes- that is cleaning them, identifying them and learning their history. For the most part I have been able to figure them out, but now I've run into a puzzler. It's a 13 1/2" Pritzlaff, and it has the frog cast into the body. From what I've read, Pritzlaff had planes made for them by different manufacturers, some going under the name of Keenedge. However, no example that I have seen has a frog cast into the bed like this. The lateral adjuster is similar to a Record…any thoughts?
I will work on adding pictures, having trouble with it right now.
