Jessem Router lift mounts motor off center.

I have a Portercable 690LR in a JessEm Rout-R-Lift II and it sits about 1/32" off center of the plate. It's enough so that I'm unable to use the proper insert rings I purchased with it. I always have to use a ring one size up. Has anyone else had this problem? What can I do about it?

I would call Jessem about it. Give them time to respond in the current situation. They probably know how to adjust it or make it right. I own 2 lifts made by them, the Rockler FX the old plate size and and a Rockler Incra, like them both. Dan
It can happen if your router is slightly under "standard" diameter (whatever "standard" really means).

You may be able to install shims (beer can cuttings) installed before clamping down the motor into the lift.
if the above suggestions don't help, is it possible you have one or two of the adjustment holes wrong? I have that lift and am very impressed with the build quality. Good luck
