It's noiser outside than in the shop

I was running the big DC and sanding some 3/4" oak ply for a DVD case that the LOML wants when I noticed it was definitely louder outside than it was in the shop. I shut everything down and walked outdoors and discovered the culprits…USAF Thunderbirds practicing for this weekend's Dayton Air Show.
I have a good view of most of the action as we live about a mile south of the airport. I told LOML that any shopping she needs to do locally she needs to get done today because this weekend the traffic will be nuts. LOL

I avoid the air show like the plague. Way too busy and usually 100 degrees in the shade when it's running. When the boy's older I may take him, though.
I love Air Shows….wish I lived closer to some. I am a old plane buff…love to see the old WWII planes redone and flying.
I agree Greg, I can sit in the shade with a tall cool one and go inside for the air conditioning whenever there is a lull in the action.
Don, Ada has a 2 day air show every year, I think it is in May. I will look and see if I can find it on the net.
That's great those show are very cool
Thanks Jimmy…I look forward to hearing about it.
I'd love to see Tex Johnson barrel roll a 707 again :))
